INTRODUCTION
The "Hub of English’ has been established by Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya,
Coimbatore with the noble aim of educating students of Vidyalaya institutions
and public of our spiritual nation by the grace of the holy trio - Sri
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. This
forum has been formed under the guidance of Rev. Swami Garishthananda,
Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore.
One
of the primary objectives of this forum is to impart significant facts about
English to cater to the needs of the English as non-native speakers of our
country. In the world of technology, learning an international language is
quite essential to ensure one’s growth at the international level. English is
called lingua franca as it connects people across the globe in various domains.
Therefore, creating a blog to acquire fundamental knowledge and unknown facts
about English, is the need of the hour for everyone to evolve beyond
geographical, linguistic, and cultural borders.
Besides
being a link language, English is spoken as an official language in more
than 50 countries across the world. Especially, in multilingual and
multicultural countries the English language plays a vital role in education,
science, business, and so on. On these grounds, mastering English language
skills facilitates individuals to be united despite many differences. Above
all, speaking English with good pronunciation makes a non-native speaker of
English understandable in an international context.
In
order to cater to the needs of the students in terms of the English language, this
forum will be a friendly and stress-free learning environment with an adequate
online learning experience in English. The thrust areas of this forum are as
follows: Grammar in daily usage, Mispronunciation, and Conversational English.
