To stick up for somebody

Means to support or defend someone in front of others

Examples:

Don’t worry.
No matter what he says, I will tell him what you did and I will defend you. I will
always stick up for you!

Thanks for
sticking up for me.
3.
He used
to stick up for me all the time.
4.
I can
stick up for myself.
