English Vocabulary

                                     English Vocabulary for the Bank         

     1. Cash – Physical money in general is referred to as cash.  

     2. Counterfeit – When money is not real it is called counterfeit. 

     3. Credit card – A card that allows you to buy things and pay for them later.

     4. Stocks – These are portions of a company that people can buy.         

     5. Teller – A teller is a person who works for a bank and is responsible for interacting with customers. 

     6. Bank Manager – The person in charge of a local office of the bank (called a branch)

    7. Receptionist – A receptionist may help you with simple tasks while you wait to speak to a teller.

     8. Investment Banker – An investment banker works at a large bank that lends money to other banks. 

     9 . Bank Account – The place in the bank where your money is saved.   

    10.   Loan – Money that you borrow from the bank.

    11.   Mortgage – Money that you borrow from the bank to buy a house. 

    12.   ATM -  A machine that lets you withdraw and deposit money.
